Drug education develops the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to promote an individuals responsibility toward the use of drugs and alcohol,
both now and in their future lives. Work In Progress offers two educational programs developed to address issues relating to the use, misuse and abuse of all types of drugs.
Prescription Drug Education Program
A one time program designed to inform the individual about the risk of substance abuse. Material focuses primarily on prescription medication, over the counter drugs and most common drugs of abuse. Each class lasts approximately 2 hours, and is available by appointment.
Drug and Alcohol Education Program
The education program meets once per week and continues for 6 consecutive weeks. Sessions are scheduled for 2 hours, and will cover 12 topics. All 12 sessions must be attended for successful completion, and enrollment is on-going.
